My name is Ava Elizabeth Wicker, in case you haven't figure
this out already. I was born on September 29th, 2003, a day
before my daddy's birthday. I was 6lbs 15oz and 20 1/4
inches long at birth.
I didn't give my mommy too much trouble while in her tummy for
most of the time, but I did make her hips start hurting towards
the end. "Sorry Mommy". When I was actually born, it
was really easy for my mom and the doctor couldn't get her scrubs
on quick enough because I was coming out quick.
Since I came out so quick, they called me a "wet baby", meaning
I came out too quick and all of my fluids didn't have the chance
to be squeezed out of my lungs. This caused me to choke a
couple of times and I had the nurses and mommy and daddy kind of
worried for a bit. That worked out fine and everything is
good with my lungs now.
A day or two after I was here, my skin started turning yellow
and the doctors told me I had
Jaundice. You can click the name to read more about it.
It's pretty common and just means my liver needed to develop a
little more. So my skin, as you can see on my face above, is
back to normal. Luckily I have my daddy's good skin color.
My pediatrician tell my mommy and daddy that I'm extremely
strong for my age. Daddy tells me that is great since I can
start taking the trash out as soon as I begin walking. I can
flip myself over already from my belly to my back. Mostly
it's when I'm mad and push myself over. I also push myself
all over my baby bed when I'm mad. Mommy has to make sure
nothing is around my bed or else I will push my face into it.
I'm hoping to live a great life and let my daddy spoil me
rotten. He tells me I can have anything I want as long as I
don't kiss any boys until I get married at 25 years old.
He's so silly. Well, enjoy my website and be sure to leave me
a "hello" on my guestbook.
Love Ava
